Students of Color Retreat

The Students of Color Retreat is an opportunity for students to step away from their daily routines, connect with one another, and build a sense of community. Through engaging activities, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences, students can strengthen relationships, reflect on their personal and academic journeys, and learn from one another.

Whether you're looking to meet new people, grow as a leader, or simply spend time with fellow students in a supportive environment, the retreat offers a space to connect, recharge, and build lasting memories.

The retreat also encourages students to explore their strengths, share their experiences, and gain valuable tools for success both in and out of the classroom. By fostering connection, belonging, and personal growth, the Students of Color Retreat helps create a stronger and more supportive campus community for all.

Find Your Community

As students return to campus and new students begin their college journey, the Student Belonging & Engagement (SBE) team is excited to welcome everyone back. We're happy to see familiar faces returning and look forward to meeting new students during Welcome Weeks!

Stop by to learn about the programs, services, and resources available to support your success, make connections, and get involved on campus. This is a great opportunity to meet staff, explore student communities, and discover spaces where you can feel supported and connected.

Whether you're new to campus or returning for another semester, SBE is here to help you build community, find resources, and make the most of your college experience. We can't wait to welcome you and help you find your place at Butte College!

League of Stars

This mentorship event, supported by Butte College, provides an opportunity for high school students to connect with mentors, gain academic and personal support, and participate in activities designed to build leadership and confidence. The program emphasizes meaningful relationships, goal setting, and pathways for future success.

Taste Of Culture

Taste of Culture is a chance for students to come together, share food, and celebrate the many cultures that make up our campus community. Through food, conversation, and connection, students can learn about different traditions, explore new flavors, and meet people from a variety of backgrounds.

Whether you're stopping by trying something new, share a piece of your culture, or simply enjoy good food and company, this event is all about building community and appreciating the diversity that makes Butte College a welcoming place for everyone.

Possibility promotes probability.
