Paradise Route – B-Line Transfers
Paradise students qualify for free B-Line passes, allowing them to take the B-Line to Chico Center and then transfer to a Butte College bus.What you need to know:

Glenn County – Glenn Ride Service
Students from Glenn County can ride the Glenn Ride to the Chico Center and transfer to the Butte College Route 1 at Pillsbury Road.- Free semester Glenn Ride bus passes are available at the Glenn County Center

Parking on Campus
Parking at Butte College is designed to be simple and convenient. All students enjoy ample free parking across our campuses, so you can get to class without the stress of searching for a spot.
For those choosing more sustainable ways to commute, we offer preferred parking permits for carpools and electric vehicles.
Carpool Parking
Want to share the ride? Carpoolers get preferred parking in Lots 1, 3, and 4.
To register your carpool:
- Download the application
- Register in person each semester at the Main Campus or Chico Center
- A current Butte College carpool decal is required
Electric and Alternative Fuel Vehicle Parking
Electric vehicle (EV) and alternative fuel vehicle drivers receive designated parking on the main campus.
- No permit needed for EV-only spaces
- EV may park in a charging spot while charging
- EV parking locations are labeled on our campus map

If you’re driving to campus, keep these tips in mind:
- Buckle up — it’s the law
- Don’t text and drive
- Stay alert and avoid distractions
- Pull over to call or text
- Don’t overcorrect if you veer off the road
- Keep your windshield wipers in good condition
- Slow down in rain, fog, or icy conditions
- Use low beams in fog
