About the Foundation
Mission & Vision
The mission of the Butte College Foundation is to help ensure the academic development and excellence of students through financial and other forms of support; to establish scholarship programs and services that benefit our students; to constantly evaluate our funding priorities to identify areas critical to our success; and to create fundraising initiatives that will support the programs and services of Butte College.
History of the Foundation
Since its incorporation in 1992, the Butte College Foundation has been dedicated to transforming lives through education. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation plays a vital role in supporting student success and strengthening the economic vitality of Butte and Glenn Counties.
Our mission is made possible through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners who believe in the power of education. Every gift—large or small—helps students overcome financial barriers, achieve their academic goals, and become the skilled professionals our region needs.
