Learn About Butte College

Transfer students are required to complete Orientation. Since you’ve earned a degree from another college or completed 24 or more units at another college, you’re automatically eligible to complete Orientation online.

Complete the request form to receive access to the online Orientation. Please note that online Orientation does not include a counseling appointment. You’ll need to schedule your own appointment with a counselor to create an education plan and choose classes.

You can also choose to attend in-person Orientation. During in-person Orientation, you’ll complete the Orientation requirement, meet with a counselor, and register for classes.
