Eligibility, POST Pay & Longevity

  • Range requirements (POA – Police Officer): Range 2 requires POST Intermediate; Range 3 requires POST Advanced; Range 4 requires POST Supervisory certification.
  • POST pay (POA – Police Officer & Sergeant): An additional 2% of base pay (Range 1) is paid for each qualifying POST certificate (per Article 11.4.1–3).
  • POST Records Supervisor pay (CSO & CSO, Senior): An additional 2% of base pay (Range 1) for possession of the POST Records Supervisor certificate (per Article 11.4.4).
  • Longevity increases (applied to base): 7 years: +3% · 10 years: +5% · 15 years: +7% · 20 years: +9%. Percent increases are calculated on base pay Range 1. POST pay and longevity are applied separately.
