Important Financial Aid Disbursement Update – October 2026
Due to the recent security incident involving BankMobile, Butte College temporarily paused electronic financial aid disbursements through BankMobile. As a precaution, financial aid refunds scheduled for October 8, 2026, were issued by paper check instead of electronic deposit.
Students were provided the option to pick up their checks at the Main Campus on October 8 or 9, or request that their checks be mailed.
If you have not yet received your October 8 financial aid check, the following options are available:Pick Up Your Check at the Main Campus
If you did not pick up your check on October 8 or 9 and have not requested mailing, your check is still available for pickup at the Business Services Office (BSO).
Location: Main Campus, Student Administrative Services (SAS) Building, 3rd Floor, Room 310
Checks may be picked up during regular business hours. Bring a valid physical photo ID and have your student ID number available.

If you would prefer to have your check mailed, follow these steps:

Log in to MyBC Self Service and review and confirm your current mailing address.

Contact the Business Services Office directly to request mailing. Have your student ID number available.
