The Butte College Education Association (BCEA) represents full-time faculty and works to support academic excellence and fair working conditions.

The Part-time Faculty Association (PFA) represents our part-time associate faculty and advocates for equity, opportunity, and fair compensation.
The California School Employees Association (CSEA) represents classified employees who provide vital operational and student support services across campus.

The Butte College Police Officers Association (BPOA) represents the sworn officers who help keep our college community safe.

Managers, Supervisors and Confidential Employees (MSC) are not represented by a bargaining unit and therefore do not negotiate.
MSC employees may join the Management Association, which has a "meet and confer" relationship with the district.
Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive health plans including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Visit Butte Schools Self-Funded Programs (BSSP) for information about specific benefits.
Unit members are eligible for retiree medical benefits when they reach age 55 with 15 years continuous full-time service with the District or when the combination of age and years of service equal or exceed 70. District paid medical coverage ends upon eligibility for Medicare or other employer sponsored benefits.
Retirement benefits are offered through CalPERS or CalSTRS, depending on your position.
