I'm uncertain about my future career path. How can I start planning for it?

Start by identifying your strengths, interests, and favorite subjects. Then explore Butte College’s Academic and Career Pathways, which are organized by Community of Interest to help you find programs connected to your goals.

It’s normal to have moments of doubt while you choose a direction. A counselor can help you compare options, build a plan, and choose general education courses that keep you moving forward one class and one semester at a time.

What if I need accommodations for my disability?

Disabled Student Programs and Services determines eligibility for academic accommodations and adjustments for students with disabilities. Accommodations may include assistive technology, educational assistance classes, exam proctoring, interpreting services, mobility services, note-taking services, and programmatic adjustments.

Can I reserve study rooms in the library?

Visit the library web page to reserve a study room for group projects or Zoom sessions. Chico Center study room reservations must be made in person or by calling 530-879-4366.

Am I eligible to use the Student Health Clinic?

Student Health Clinic services are available to all students enrolled in a for-credit class who have paid the student health fee. There is no cost to see a nurse practitioner, physician, or mental health specialist, though some tests, medications, and procedures may have a small fee.

Where can I find a tutor?

The Center for Academic Success (CAS) offers free tutoring, supplemental instruction, and workshops to help you build strong study skills and succeed in your classes. With locations across our service area and trained student leaders, CAS gives you the tools and support to reach your academic goals.
