Foundation Opens Scholarship Applications

The Butte College Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2026-27 academic year, with a March 15 at 11:59 p.m. deadline. Scholarships are open to all incoming, current, and returning Butte College students, including high school seniors who plan to attend Butte College in fall 2026.

This year, the foundation will award 340 scholarships totaling more than $250,000. Scholarships are available for students pursuing a wide range of academic and career goals, with criteria that may include field of study, program, place of residence, community involvement, or other qualifications.

New, continuing, and returning students planning to attend Butte College during the 2026-27 academic year are encouraged to apply at butte.edu/scholarships. Applicants must have a Butte College student ID and email address to be eligible. Learn how to apply to Butte College at butte.edu/apply.

"These scholarships reflect the collective impact of donors who give each year to support students," said Suzanne Watroba, executive director of the Butte College Foundation. "As well as those who have invested in enduring endowments that will continue opening doors to education for years to come.
