Meet Interim Vice President Tray Robinson
With more than 28 years of experience in higher education, Interim Vice President Tray Robinson leads a comprehensive network of student services that support students from onboarding through completion. His leadership oversees counseling and advising, financial aid, career and transfer services, basic needs support, health and wellness resources, and programs that promote access, retention, and student success. Grounded in an equity-centered and student-first approach, he is committed to ensuring every Roadrunner has meaningful access to the resources, opportunities, and support needed to achieve their educational goals.
Interim Vice President Robinson’s leadership is rooted in collaboration, shared governance, and strategic planning. Drawing from his experience as Butte College’s inaugural IDEA Officer and founder of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, he works to strengthen systems and services that support students from all backgrounds and lived experiences. Through partnerships across campus, he helps align programs such as EOPS, TRIO, veterans services, and other student support initiatives into a coordinated, student-ready experience that fosters belonging, empowerment, and equitable outcomes.
