This is a picture of me and my wife. We’ve been married for 36 years and have two married children and a granddaughter.

I’ve been teaching philosophy at Butte College since 1977 and have loved every minute (Okay—that’s a slight exaggeration, meetings and grading papers sometimes gets a little old.)

My wife and I enjoy hiking with our dog Emma. I throw the Frisbees and she takes the pictures.

Here I am explaining the finer points of Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas to my granddaughter.
