The Business Management Program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education in business operations, management techniques, human relations, basic marketing principles, accounting, business law, economics and business computer applications. Program specialties include: Management, Retail Management and Small Business/Entrepreneurship.
This program is designed to teach students to solve problems, develop management strategies, make oral presentations, and write reports such as business plans and case analyses. Management skills are useful in many job settings; retail, wholesale, manufacturing, social services, government and education. These skills are also important for people who wish to improve their performance in existing jobs or develop their own businesses.
Certificates and Certificates of Achievement are awarded to indicate a satisfactory level of achievement in programs requiring less than two years of full-time study. Some programs require full-time registration; others may be completed over an extended period of time in the regular day and evening college classes. The Business Education Department offers the following Certificates in this program:

Associate of Science (AS) Degrees are awarded upon completing state and local academic requirement and filing an Application for Graduation.
