Course Description: This course covers the operation, design, construction, fault diagnosis, service and repair procedures of the internal combustion engine.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Prioritize safety practices while working on and around automotive engine systems.
- Identify automotive engine components and describe system design and construction.
- Analyze automotive engine faults theoretically
- Discuss automotive engine service and repair procedures.
- Prioritize automotive engine maintenance.
