Here
is a list of books that I have enjoyed through the years. Some I read
as a teenager, others I have discovered within the last year. Not all
of them are specifically geographic in content. Each one of them will
either stimulate, entertain, elevate or provoke you. Some will do all
four! The book is one of the most marvelous of all human inventions. Books
are effective modes of transportation, lifting us out of our world and
landing us in London's Piccadilly Circus or Aboriginal Australia, often
in the company of erudite and entertaining guides. You can take a book
backpacking or to the beach. And books are best when they are shared.
Browse through this catalog, choose a title to read, then share it with
a friend. Few gifts are more valuable.
