Steps for enrollment if you have never attended Butte College, Oroville, California, U.S.A. However, if you are able to visit the campus or it's centers orientation tapes are available for each class. Call 530-895-2430 to view video orientation tapes.
1. Phone 530.895.2361 or 530.895.2378 and request an application for Admission to the college sent to you. Or Download the admission application * and mail a signed copy to the school, notice; you must obtain or have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to open the college application form, it is a free download. Next determine fees. You will have to mail a cashier check in US dollars when fees have been determined.
2. Once you have been accepted to the college all you need is a student ID number (given by the college), computer and modem. After you have been properly enrolled e-mail instructor for password and method to obtain instructional materials. Cost of class materials varies between classes and can be paid for by a cashier check in US dollars.
3. If college credits are not a concern but you wish to enroll for personal edification, e-mail instructor to enrolled in courses via individual contract.
4. If you are a previous student of Butte College a student ID number is all that is required to enroll in a Internet course. E-mail instructor for additional instructions.
5. If you are able to attend, all distance classes have on-campus orientation meetings at the beginning of each semester. These meetings are video taped and available for viewing through the college and it's centers, call, 530-895-2430 for further information about dates, times, and locations.
