Blackboard Learning Institute

The Blackboard Learning Institute (BLI) provides comprehensive faculty training in Blackboard, including course design and development, and best practices in using a variety of online tools for learning.

The BLI also includes online course development, culminating in a 22-hour online workshop that fosters the development of mentoring relationships among faculty, and the encouragement of online course development.

The TMI unit works with the Academic Senate‘s Distance Learning Committee to ensure technical approval standards for online courses.

Pre-Approved LTPA Forms

The appropriate form (Full-time or Associate) must be completed and submitted to the Office for Learning prior to attending Blackboard Tool trainings (Course Management, Assessment Tools, etc).
