TMI is a faculty serving department within BC's Office for Student Learning & Economic Development (OSLED), dedicated to serving faculty in their usage of educational technology to enhance student success. Our office specifically focuses on instructor use of the Canvas Learning Management System.
Canvas is updated approximately every three weeks. Each update typically includes a variety of small fixes and minor improvements.

TMI supports and provides training to all faculty and instructional programs in the use of Butte College's Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas. We provide comprehensive individual and group training in the design of supplemental online resources, as well as fully online courses. Our dept has regular advisory meetings with the Academic Technology Committee (ATC) and the Distance Learning Committee (DLC), both of which report to the BC Academic Senate.
