Work-Study Information For Employers

One of the many ways Butte College assists students in finding career related employment is through Work-Study programs. There are three Work-Study programs offered through Butte College, all of which help qualified students pay for college and allow the college to reimburse a student's employer for a designated percentage of the employee's wages.

The reimbursement rate varies depending on which Work-Study program the student has qualified for and whether the employer is considered to be a Government Agency/Nonprofit/Community Service business or a Privately Owned/For-Profit business.

In order for an employer to participate in a Work-Study program the management must sign a Work-Study agreement that details all the terms of the particular Work-Study program they are interested in.

For more information on the different Work Study programs please visit the Work-Study page.

To sign up for the work study program you may contact our office by phone, in person, or e-mail.
