UC Transfer |
|
Transfer students need to plan their coursework carefully. Courses taken should help meet minimum admission requirements for transfer and partially or completely fulfill a variety of other University requirements (breadth, major, competencies). Students increase their chances for admission and success if they develop and follow a plan of college coursework. This is called a Student Educational Plan, or SEP. While many prospective transfer students know which UC campus and program they wish to attend and have a general knowledge of University requirements it is essential that students research specific requirements of their intended major and campus and the community college courses that are approved to meet these requirements. Information to assist in the transfer process is available in a variety of UC publications, including Answers for Transfers and the UC Campus General Catalog. Contact a counselor for details and specific information on UC transfer requirements and to develop a Student Educational Plan (SEP).
