Louise LeeLouise is the Chico Center Librarian.

She joined the library team in January, 2005, two years after she moved to Chico. She got her Master's degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Louise teaches Bibliographic Instruction classes and workshops, and answers reference questions at the reference desk and via email. She is also responsible for the collection development in philosophy, religion, psychology, anthropology and geography. Contact her if you have any book recommendations in these areas.

Formerly a teacher, Louise enjoys helping students to acquire research techniques that enable them to become effective life-long learners. She is interested in art and crafts as well as information technologies. Don't be surprised if you run into her in both technology-related workshops and craft fairs.
