Changing your email program after migration
Please note that after your migration some email and calendar functions will be slow for approximately 24 - 72 hours. In addition, immediately following the migration, calendar entries and contacts may take several hours to reappear.
One of the more significant changes to your email is that you will no longer be able to use "campus\username" to log in. Your username to log into email and MyBC will be "email@example.com".
Outlook Web App - The first time you sign into the Office 365 Outlook Web App (OWA), you will be prompted to set your language and time zone preference.

It is recommended that you use Outlook or Outlook Web App to manage your calendar instead of iCal or the Mac OS X Calendar application.
Forwarding your mail
Because inbox rules may become nonfunctional during migration, you may need to recreate any email forwarding that was set up in your account.
- In Outlook Web App, click the Settings gear at the top right and choose Options.
- Choose Account > Connected accounts.
- In the Forwarding section, in Forward my email to, type the email address you want to forward your Outlook Web App email to.
NOTE: By default, a copy of all forwarded messages is kept in your mailbox after you set up forwarding. If you don't want to keep a copy of messages in your mailbox, clear the Keep a copy of forwarded messages in Outlook Web App check box.
- Click Start Forwarding.
