IT Services & Support is in the process of upgrading the campus WiFi. This change will affect both students and staff.
Phase 1 of the WiFi upgrade required a hardware upgrade to the wireless access points around campus. This has been largely completed.
ClearPass will be implemented with as few changes made as possible. We want to make sure that students and staff members have a seamless experience during this transition.
WiFi users may receive a request to approve a new security certificate. Examples are below.
If you receive a certificate request when connecting to campus WiFi, you may safely accept it.
The process to connect to the Butte_College network will not change, but a new login page will be used. Your existing Butte College credentials will work to log you in. Below is a sample image of the new login page:
