Craig Rigsbee
Athletic Director

Craig currently is the Director of Athletics and Physical Education, a post he assumed in July 2005 after coaching football at Butte for the last 22 years, 16 of those as the head coach.

Coach Rigsbee took his roadrunner teams to 10 conference titles, 15 bowl appearances, winning 10 bowl victories, establishing himself as the most successful coach in Butte 's history. Craig also has been voted the California Community College Coach of the Year three times.

He continually promotes Butte College and BC athletics and is proud of the many student-athletes Butte has guided to universities and colleges. Craig monitors Butte College athletes who must sign and compete under a code of honor and conduct. He also oversees a large and diverse department that includes coordinating different fundraisers and Athletic Hall of Fame.

Craig lives in Chico with his wife Karla, and two sons, Tyler and Jordan.
