TAKE A CLASS!
The Butte College Drama Department strives to offer as many opportunties for students to study and experience the theatre arts as possible. The program offered is dedicated to providing quality course offereings, and several performance cycles throughout the academic year and summer. Many courses are transferrable and geared towards students who wish to carry on to a four year program. Courses are appropriate for community members or general study students who wish to enhance their knowledge of the theatre arts.
Courses are offered on Main Campus and Chico Center. Rehearsals take place in Chico and performances are at the Paradise Performing Arts Center on Nunnely Rd. in Paradise. During the summer program the performances take place outdoors in the City Plaza in lovely downtown Chico. The Winter One Acts program is generally performed in Chico at one of the area's theatre facilities.
