Student Health Services
Student Health Services provides students with free office visits. Our staff consists of two full-time nurse practitioners and a physician.
Our services include treatment for minor injuries and illnesses and monitoring some chronic conditions such as high blood pressure. We can perform pre-employment, Allied Health, and DMV physicals. We offer immunizations for tetanus; measles, mumps, rubella; Hepatitis A and B; and Meningitis for minimal fees. We test for pregnancy, STD’s, tuberculosis and other conditions. Over the counter medications such as Tylenol and Aspirin are available, and for $1 a dozen condoms are dispensed. Personal counseling services are available on a short-term basis. We can make referrals to community agencies or help find appropriate local resources to help with your more acute or chronic medical problems.
Prescriptive meds are dispensed at cost by clinicians if required at the time of your visit or prescriptions for necessary medications may be filled off campus at a pharmacy.
