Our Mission
The mission of the Butte College Financial Aid Office is to assure that the delivery of student aid funds is conducted accurately, expediently, and with respect. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of a diverse and talented campus community by providing quality customer service through the use of technology and a knowledgeable staff. Our goal is to provide financial assistance and information to students who would find it difficult or impossible to attend college without such aid.

Important information about repayment: Students receiving financial aid who withdraw from all classes within the first 60% of the term or receive all 'FW's or a combination of 'FW's and withdrawals/drops may be required to repay a portion of aid received.

Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress for Financial Aid Recipients
Federal and state financial aid regulations require Butte College to establish, publish and apply qualitative and quantitative standards by which the college can determine whether a student requesting and/or receiving financial aid is maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress toward their educational goal.
