It's time to apply for Summer Session and Fall Semester 2016 classes at Butte College.
Butte College offers a variety of educational options, ranging from general and special interest courses, complete career and technical education programs which prepare students for a career upon graduation, and transfer programs which allow students to complete their general education and lower-division major requirements before transferring to a university. From accounting to welding, Butte College currently offers 160 different Degree and Certificate programs. Also, Butte College now offers 24 associate degrees that transfer directly to the CSU.
The Summer Session, June 13 through July 21, 2016, offers classes at the main campus and Chico Center. Most of these classes are three units and meet daily for four hours giving students the perfect opportunity to squeeze in some units between semesters.
The 2016 Fall Semester begins August 22 and offers day and evening classes on the main campus, Chico Center, and Glenn County Center for convenient scheduling.
Butte College offers a quality education at an affordable price for the entire community -- for both first time and returning students. The cost of a unit is $46, making a quality education more accessible. The cost of earning general education units at Butte College is thousands of dollars less than earning the same units at a CSU or UC.
