Earth Day Celebration Takes Place April 21

Hosted by the Sustainability Resource Center

The Butte College Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) will host an annual Earth Day celebration, on April 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities will be held at the Butte College main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, on the lower Campus Center Lawn, under the solar panels. This year, the annual festival will highlight solutions to current environmental issues with a focus on energy. Students are encouraged to participate in the day’s activities, which include an Electric Vehicle Showcase, educational booths, vendors, food, live music, workshops, art installations, hands-on demonstrations, arts & crafts, tours of the 928 acre wildlife refuge, and more! The SRC hopes to excite the campus community about emerging technologies and connect students with local organizations.
