Butte College's Nursing Class held its graduation on December 19 at the Butte College Campus Center. Thirty six students successfully completed the nursing program and became registered nurses with a ceremonial pinning.
The program included a welcome from the Nursing Program Chair, Susan Craig, and Pinning Ceremony Coordinator, Jamie Laffins. The Class Speaker was Matthew Haselton. Presentation of awards began with a welcome by President Dr. Kimberly Perry and awards were presented to the top nursing graduates for Clinical Excellence, Academic Excellence, Nursing Excellence, and NSNA Leadership.
Many of the students are member of the National Student Nurses Association, National Student Nurses Officers, Phi Theta kappa Honor Society/National Society of Leadership and Success.
