Oroville, CA The Butte College Associated Students will host their annual Spring Carnival, on May 8 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free activities will take place at the Butte College main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, on the Campus Center Lawn. This event is designed to encourage students to come together and celebrate the end of the semester. During the three-day event, students will be able to enjoy an inflatable obstacle course, giant rock wall, human Velcro wall, popcorn, vendors, photo booth, games, and more.
Special activities for May 8 include: a student karaoke contest at 11:30 a.m. First, second, and third place winners will receive gift certificates to the Butte College Bookstore.
On May 9, the Spring Carnival will feature a faculty dunk tank from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., campus parade at noon, free student BBQ at 12:30 p.m., and live music from The Decades at 12:30 p.m. Along with the day's events, a musical performance is planned May 10 from Los Papis Chulos at noon.
