Acquisitions and cataloguing

Library materials are ordered, catalogued, and processed at Technical Services in LB 303 on the Main Campus. You can access our online catalog to search the library print and e-book collection.

New Books

The Butte College Library acquires new titles on a regular basis. You can find our recent purchases on the "New Books" shelf on the second floor of the Main Campus library. We also provide a list of recent purchases at our home page under Collection Development --> New Books.

Butte College staff and students are encouraged to recommend books for purchase. Check the "New Books" list online to see if your request has arrived.

Chico Center Book Requests

Technical Services also processes new books and materials for the Chico Center Library. We also handle online requests by patrons for books to be sent to the Chico Center.
