Nov. 11th
Butte dropped their final match of 2011 with a 2-1 conference loss to rival Feather River College. Cassidy Ledwig had the lone goal off of a Martell Fox assist. Connie Rivera was in goal.
Nov. 4th
The Lady Roadrunners got back in the win column with a 4-1 win in non-conference play at Feather River College. Diana Estevez, Taylor Lambert, Cassidy Ledwig, and Yolanda Maldonado each had goals. Madison Ruskit added 2 assists; Taylor Lambert and Martell Fox also contributed with assists. Connie Rivera and Ashley Gonzalez split time in goal for the win.
Nov. 1st
Butte College was dealt another setback as they were defeated again on the road. Host Yuba College found a late second half goal and won 1-0. Connie Rivera was in goal with 2 saves. Butte continued to press the action and saw several excellent saves from the Yuba keeper.
Oct. 28th
The Lady Roadrunners dropped a 3-1 decision on the road at Shasta College in GVC action. Malissa McRae scored the lone goal and Connie Rivera had 4 saves in the match.
Oct. 18th
The Lady Roadrunners hosted Napa Valley College in non-conference action and battled to a 2-2 tie. Madison Ruskit had a goal and assisted a Julie Haselton goal. Connie Rivera was in goal and had several excellent saves to deny the visiting side. Connie finished the day with 5 saves.
Oct. 14th
Butte College was back in GVC action hosting Feather River College. The Lady Roadrunners defeated FRC 2-0 with 2 Julie Haselton goals. The first was assisted by Analy Nava with Kayla Teats earning the second assist. Connie Rivera was in goal with 4 saves and earned the fifth shutout of the year.
Oct. 11th
Butte College was home again hosting Shasta College in non-conference action. The Lady Roadrunners defeated the Lady Knights 2-0 on the day which saw Madison Ruskit score a goal and assist Julie Haselton’s goal. Connie Rivera was in goal with 3 saves and earned the fourth shutout of the season.
Oct. 7th
The Lady Roadrunners dropped their GVC opener 4-3 to Shasta College. The back and forth match saw Madison Ruskit score a goal and assist Julie Haselton on both of her goals. Ashley Gonzalez was in goal with 4 saves.
Sep. 27th
The Lady Roadrunners were on the road again as they faced College of Marin and battled to a 1-1 tie. Butte went down a goal early in the second half but pressed the action the entire match hitting the post and cross bar several times. The Lady Roadrunners were finally rewarded with a goal when Tori Martin converted on a Madison Ruskit assist. Ashley Gonzalez was in goal with 4 saves. Butte opens GVC play on Friday October 7th at home against Shasta College.
Sep. 20th
Butte College got back on track with a 5-0 win at home over visiting Los Medanos College. Bri Sheldon opened the scoring in the opening minutes of the match. Taylor Lambert had 2 goals on the day and Julie Haselton and Yolanda Maldonado also contributed goals. Analy Nava had 2 assists and Yolanda Maldonado, Julie Haselton, and Madison Ruskit added assists in the victory. Connie Rivera and Ashley Gonzalez combined for the third shutout of the season with 3 saves a piece.
Sep. 16th
The Lady Roadrunners grueling non-conference schedule continued as they faced NorCal and National powerhouse Modesto. The Lady Pirates handed Butte a 6-1 defeat. D Estevez started off the scoring for Butte with a goal but that was the only look the Lady Roadrunners could get to find the back of the net. Connie Rivera and Samantha Jenkins split time in goal with 5 and 2 saves each.
Sep. 13th
Butte College was back on the road as the Lady Roadrunners faced Ohlone College. Butte fell behind in the first half 2-0 until a free kick by Yolanda Maldonado closed the gap in the waning moments of the half. Ohlone struck again and the Lady roadrunners answered as Madison Ruskit connected with Julie Haselton. Butte continued to press the action and look for the equalizer but was caught in transition as Ohlone downed Butte College 4-2. Connie Rivera, Ashley Gonzalez, and Samantha Jenkins all split time in goal.
Sep. 10th
The Lady Roadrunners were home again as they got back on track and defeated visiting Hartnell College 4-0. In the first half Yolanda Maldonado assisted on a Julie Haselton goal for the 1-0 lead. The second half saw Butte College continue to press the attack. Analy Nava scored then assisted a Taylor Lambert goal. The fourth goal came as Tori Martin assisted Bri Sheldon. Connie Rivera was in goal with 5 saves for the second shutout of the year.
Sep. 9th
The Lady Roadrunners played national power American River College for their first home game where they were dealt a 6-1 loss. Taylor Lambert assisted Cassidy Ledwig for Butte’s lone goal. Connie Rivera and Ashley Gonzalez were in goal with 5 and 3 saves each. “This was a great opportunity to learn. ARC is among the best in the country and we played even with them for 45 minutes. Our team will take away an important lesson on playing for 90 minutes.”
Sep. 6th
On the road again, the Lady Roadrunners defeated host Mendocino College 6-1. D Estevez and Julie Haselton lead the scoring with 2 goals apiece while Madison Ruskit and Taylor Lambert each added goals. Madison also contributed with 2 assists and D Estevez also added an assist. Connie Rivera and Ashley Gonzalez were in goal for the victory with 3 and 1 save each.
Sep. 3rd
In the second match of the Cuesta College Tournament the Lady Roadrunners defeated the host Cougars 6-1. Taylor Lambert led the scoring with 2 goals. Cassidy Ledwig, Julie Haselton, Yolanda Maldonado, and Madison Ruskit each had a goal. Madison Ruskit also added 2 assisted in the match. Cassidy Ledwig, Martell Fox, and Julie Haselton also had assists on the day. Connie Rivera had 10 saves and Ashley Gonzalez had 1 save as they split time in goal for the win.
Sep. 2nd
Butte was away at the Cuesta College Tournament and in the first match played Saddleback College of Mission Viejo, CA. In another evenly played match Analy Nava assisted Yolanda Maldonado’s game winning strike. The defense held tight throughout the match and the Lady Roadrunners earned the win with a 1-0 victory. Connie Rivera was in goal for her first shut out of the year with 6 saves.
Aug. 30th
The Lady Roadrunners opened the 2011 season away against NorCal power Cosumnes River College. The first half saw even action as both Butte and CRC had several looks in front of goal. The Lady Roadrunners almost took the draw into the half but CRC found a goal 44 minutes in. The second half had Butte pressing for the equalizer but CRC found a second goal and the contest ended with a 2-0 loss. Connie Rivera had 8 saves in goal on the day.
