Assessment information is used as part of the PBA process to inform the Planning effort. This information includes:
Leading Indicators provides the Board of Trustees with a set of predictive indicators that they can use to assist in decision-making. The Executive Summary of the report provides a really good summary of many of the trends that we’re seeing and some good data about progression for Hispanic students.
The Butte-Glenn Community College District Snapshot provides service area information, demographic data, enrollment patterns and other information about the institution.
Program Review Data provides the information required in the new program review that is currently being piloted. It includes student demographics, success/retention/efficiency data, course-level information, detailed student success data, faculty demographics and cost-effectiveness data for each discipline.
The Balanced Scorecard provides institutional outcomes for the core processes and measurements of effectiveness for the goals in the District’s Strategic Direction. This information is used to inform the annual refinement of the District's Strategic Direction.
Periodically, the District conducts surveys to determine student, faculty and staff satisfaction with services and processes. The Fall 2007 student survey and the Spring 2008 faculty and staff survey are provided at the following links:

In Spring 2008 and Spring 2011, the college administered the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE). This nationally normed student survey enables the college to compare itself to other large community colleges across the nation in the areas most likely to lead to student success. Butte College CCSSE results include a Benchmark Comparison showing the college's performance on the five areas most likely to lead to student success, the Five Highest and Five Lowest Aspects from the survey, and a college generated CCSSE Report that describes the responses to each question along with a comparison to the large college peer group and to the 2008 survey results and a campus CCSSE presentation.
Each year Butte College publishes its accomplishments for the year. These are aligned with the college's Strategic Direction.
The college's Oracle Reports Server provides a wide variety of reports that are helpful for a number of reports on student demographics, enrollment management, instructional programs, student services, and institutional research.
Information about Student Learning Outcomes can be found at the SLO Website.
Assessment Resources contain information about the System Office Data Mart, the Accountability Report for Community Colleges, and the California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC).
