The Butte College Foundation awards Foundation Grants and Matching Grants to academic and student programs. In the last two years, this base of important support for our programs had continued to grow thanks to the generous support of our loyal donors. The Foundation awarded $15,950 for the 2003-2004 school year, and since then we have doubled the amount of grants, awarding at least $30,000 each year.

Foundation Grants are direct grants to faculty and staff to enhance or supplement student programs.

For Matching Grants, the individual or group is responsible for raising an agreed-upon amount of funds, which the Foundation will then match.

All grants are awarded annually during the fall semester.
