These
funds will be awarded based on the following criteria and guidelines:
1. Grants are awarded for the greater benefit
of

will fulfill the total grant request or a specified portion of the grant
request.
3. Priority will be given to
grant requests with matching funds and/or evidence of extraordinary commitment
to the project.
4. Priority will be given to the grant showing
most overall campus benefit.
5. Priority will be given to creative,

Information:
After receiving all grant requests,
the Executive Director will:
1. Mail a list of grant requests to all
Foundation Directors to give them the opportunity
to fulfill a
request prior to the Foundation’s funding of the project.
2. Offer Foundation Directors the opportunity
to contact a Foundation Director representative on the selection committee
about a particular project they would wish to see funded.
3.
Make the completed grant applications available to the Grant Selection
Committee, in the Foundation office.
4.
Invite all Grant Selection Committee members to the office to review
the applications prior to the selection committee meeting. (Give 10 days time
for this grant application review.)
5.
Grant applicants are asked to meet with the Selection committee on a
specified date in the Butte College Board room.
Each applicant will have two minutes to support their request.
All unused grant funds will remain in the Foundation
Grant Program to be re-allocated the following year.
